Residential & Commercial Painting
Enhance interiors and exteriors with expert painting.
Preparation:
Choose your paint: Select the right type (latex, oil-based) and finish (matte, satin, gloss) based on the room and surface.
Prep the surface: Clean walls, fill holes, sand rough spots, and tape off edges and fixtures.
Protect the area: Cover furniture and flooring with drop cloths or plastic sheets.
Painting:
Apply primer: Especially on new drywall, stains, or drastic color changes.
Start with edges: Use a brush to “cut in” around corners, ceilings, and trim.
Roll the walls: Use a roller in a “W” pattern for even coverage and avoid streaks.
Apply additional coats: Let each coat dry fully before applying the next.
Finishing Touches:
Remove painter’s tape: Do this before the paint fully dries to avoid peeling.
Touch up: Inspect for missed spots or drips and fix them promptly.
Clean tools and space: Wash brushes, rollers, and tidy up the painted area.
